We are ViriCiti; a young international clean-tech company of ambitious ViriCitizens who are working hard on the electric transition of commercial vehicles. We started our adventure in 2012 in Amsterdam and are now growing our office in the States. We are looking for a hands-on Finance Associate to join our team in Greenville,  South Carolina. Your job

In your role as Finance Associate, you will be responsible for the daily finance operations, the optimization of current financial processes as well as their implementation. In this operational and leading role, you will report directly to the Finance Manager from the holding group. As you will be part of the early growth of ViriCiti in the USA, you will work closely together with the Managing Director and Sales Managers of the LLC. Your position as Finance Associate - North America is key for  ViriCiti’s growth in the States. This is your opportunity to be part of a rapidly expanding international scale up.


Responsibilities & tasks

  • Accounts payable/receivables

  • Day to day bookkeeping in Quickbooks Online

  • Maintaining LLC payroll and benefits (401k administration specifically)

  • Cost control

  • Filing of sales taxes

  • Filing of unemployment and payroll taxes

  • SBE (small business entity/enterprise) registration/classification

  • Canadian RFP compliance and the Provincial and Federal level

  • US RFP compliance at the federal and state level

  • Business license/registration for all states and providences


  • A Bachelor degree in Business with a Financial emphasis, MBA preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar operational finance position, preferably in a start-up or scale up company

  • At least 2 years of experience with payroll administration, preferably with a 3rd party payroll service and/or self-managed

  • At least 2 years of experience with sales tax filing in the multiple US states

  • Experience with 401K program administration

  • Ability to obtain a US passport

  • Excellent computer skills, including but not limited to proficiency with MS Excel and Quickbooks Online
